The Value Chain Promotion Strategist will design strategies and solutions for priority value chains, focusing on business model development, market linkages, and access to finance. The role emphasizes building partnerships with private actors and supporting sustainable, community-led enterprises.
● Formulate, implement, and modify strategies and solutions for value chain promotion.
● Conduct and lead technical workshops with stakeholders, including market engagement sessions.
● Identify key market players and facilitate linkages, business development pitches, and financing initiatives.
● Develop capacity-building modules for target beneficiaries collaborating with consortium partners.
● Draft, review, and submit all relevant reports to Team Leader.
● Maintain active, documented engagement with market actors and beneficiaries.
● Master’s in Environmental Science, Forestry, Finance, or Business.
● English & Hindi language proficiency
● 8 years of professional experience in the natural resources management, agroforestry and nature-based businesses; 5 years of experience in value chain promotion, marketing, business model development and establishing market linkages including providing access to finance with a focus on agro/agroforestry/ayurvedic products; 4 years of the total experience in projects in India
● Strategic thinking and workshop facilitation expertise.
● Strong business model development and financial linkage skills.
● Capacity-building and training development abilities.
● Advanced communication and stakeholder management.
