Validation Engineer (C, ADA, RTRT) | 6 - 9 years | Bangalore

Seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Validation Engineer with hands-on experience in Ada programming , C language , and RTRT (Rational Test RealTime) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating embedded software systems, ensuring compliance with functional and safety requirements, and contributing to the development of robust testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute validation test cases using RTRT for embedded systems.
• Perform unit testing , integration testing , and system-level validation for software written in Ada and C .
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and validation results.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of automated test environments and test scripts .
• Document validation procedures, test plans, and reports in accordance with industry standards.
• Apply multi-paradigm programming principles to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Electronics , or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in software validation , embedded systems , or test automation .
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Ada programming language
  • C language
  • RTRT (Rational Test RealTime)
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and validation methodologies .
• Experience with information technology infrastructure , system interfaces , and configuration management .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace , automotive , or safety-critical systems .
• Knowledge of DO-178C , ISO 26262 , or similar standards.
• Exposure to Linux/UNIX environments , Perl/Python scripting , or version control systems .
