UX Researcher (Contract Role)

Role & responsibilities

• Understand business problems: gain a deep understanding of the business problems to create contextually relevant design solutions.

• Perform User Experience research activities and collaborate with business teams and application users to conduct reasearch activitites and produce tangible reasearch output for UX design.

• Work closely with other UX and UI designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of users' needs and behaviors, and functional requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.

• Develop essential UX artefacts and communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with concept maps, wireframes, storyboards, task flows, information architecture, mockups/ prototypes and design specifications.

• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.

• Advocate for design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 - 7 years of experience in product design with solid involvement in User Experience (UX) Research and Design with primary skill or major experience in UX research

• Experience in performing UX research with expertise in relevant tools and techniques
• Good to have experience in designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
• Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space, facilitate brainstorming sessions and convey design ideas
• Ability to grasp the essence of complex problems and translate them to practical design solutions. Ideate products from scratch and improve features.
• Proficiency in fundamental visual & interaction design principles.
• Understanding and expertise in Figma and/or other prototyping tools.
• Excellent communication skills
