US Travel Sales Consultant

As a Travel Sales Executive at Travelo1.com, your role will involve helping customers identify their ideal travel plans based on their interests and requirements. You should have excellent knowledge of any GDS system such as Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre, Apollo, or Worldspan. Your responsibilities will include issuance and reissuance, negotiating customizations, resolving trip-related problems for guests, updating guest details and travel information in a database, and reaching sales and revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: - Determine clients" needs and suggest suitable travel packages over calls - Offer the best available deals and convert them into sales - Handle all calls assertively and keep a strong track of follow-ups - Use exemplary sales skills and a customer-oriented approach - Generate revenue for the company by handling inbound calls - Achieve profit targets - Handle tasks like date changes, schedule changes, and refunds - Interact with airlines to facilitate travel arrangements Qualifications Required: - 1+ years of proven experience in US Voice Process inbound Travel Sales (US/International Travel Process) - Good geographical knowledge including city codes and airport codes - Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English) - Strong convincing power and negotiation skills - Willingness to work in shifts as per international time zones - Comfortable working in night shifts This is a full-time position with both night and rotational shifts. Additionally, yearly bonuses are provided based on performance. Sales or customer service experience of at least 1 year is required for this role.
