US Tax Reviewer (Business)

Roles Responsibilities:

• Review and file business tax returns i.e. Form 1065, and 1120
• Preparation of various foreign forms (5471, 5472, 8858, and 8865
• Research on various complex tax topics on case-to-case basis
• Keeping up to date with changes in major tax laws, both at IRS and state level
• Drafting replies for Tax Notices and compiling required documents, including calling state tax authorities as well as IRS, in case needed
• Preparation and filing of 1099 Forms for various accounting clients at the yearend
• Setting up systems and processes to expand tax department operations

Education Qualification:

• M.com/CA Inter/ CA/ CPA

Experience:

• Min 3 to 10 years of relevant experience.

• Analytical skills, problem-solving and critical thinking
• Using system data, prepare tax adjustment work papers to support federal & state positions taken on income tax returns. Sound knowledge of preparing Form 1065, and Form 1120.
• Use tax software to assist in preparing federal & state income tax returns to be filed, and any electronic filing as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of state apportionment.
• Perform self-review of work
• Assisting in the quarterly US tax line calculations for current and deferred income taxes
• May include and hoc tax technical research on various tax projects.
• Utilizing excel capabilities to automate existing tax calculations.
• Commit to working together as one team, exceed service expectations by developing positive relationships
