Shift: 03:30 PM – 12:30 AM IST (Summers) | 04:30 PM – 01:30 AM IST (Winters)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Team Lead – US Individual Tax to manage US tax accounting for individual and multi-state clients. This role involves leading a team, reviewing complex tax returns, ensuring compliance, and providing insights to support client decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage US Individual Tax Returns (1040), multi-state returns, and foreign compliance forms (5471, 7472)
• Conduct tax research, international taxation, transfer pricing, and treaty analysis
• Prepare and submit tax returns for US clients accurately and on time
• Supervise and mentor associate accountants
• Liaise with clients, tax authorities, and internal teams for smooth engagement delivery
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.Com (mandatory); M.Com/BFA/Professional courses preferred
• Experience: 5–8 years in US tax accounting, preferably with Big 4 experience
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience
• Strong knowledge of US Taxation, 1040 & multi-state returns
• Advanced proficiency in CCH / UltraTax software
