Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Underwrite new loan applications according to established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Conduct thorough reviews of borrower creditworthiness, income documentation, and collateral value.
Determine appropriate loan-to-value ratios and interest rates based on current market conditions.

Desired Candidate Profile

1-6 years of experience in US mortgage underwriting or a related field.
Strong understanding of mortgage loans, including conventional fixed-rate loans, FHA/VA loans, jumbo loans, and government-backed programs like USDA/FHA/Veterans Affairs.
Proficiency in using Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as Encompass or similar platforms.
US Shift (5:39 PM to 2:30 AM)
