  1. Work Authorization Focus (Non-Negotiable):

    Expert proficiency in targeting and confirming candidates holding

    USC, GC, or valid EADs

    (e.g., L2/H4 EAD, OPT EAD) and documenting their status clearly and compliantly.
  2. Nationwide Sourcing:

    Demonstrated ability to execute successful, targeted sourcing campaigns for IT talent in

    every location possible within the USA

    , from major tech hubs to niche regional markets. The goal is to maximize geographic reach and diversity.
  3. High-Level Boolean Mastery:

    Advanced command of complex Boolean search strings and X-Ray sourcing techniques across platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Portals, etc.) to precisely filter results based on location, skill, and specific work authorization keywords.

Core Verification & Vetting Responsibilities

The Sourcing Specialist is the first line of defense for quality control and compliance.

  • Experience Verification:

    Conduct detailed, initial screening interviews to

    verify candidates documented experience

    and ensure their technical proficiency aligns perfectly with the requisition requirements before presenting them to a Recruiter.
  • Communication Vetting:

    Rigorously assess and confirm

    strong, clear, and professional verbal and written communication skills

    during the initial interaction, ensuring candidates can articulate technical concepts clearly and confidently.
  • Work Authorization Vetting:

    Collect and document preliminary, non-discriminatory information regarding work status and EAD validity/expiration dates, adhering strictly to USCIS guidelines.
  • Pipeline Management:

    Build, maintain, and segment highly organized talent pools within the ATS, categorized by skill, location, and confirmed work authorization status (USC/GC/EAD).

Qualifications for Success

  • Experience:

    1-5 years of proven experience in IT staffing or technical recruitment, with a heavy emphasis on direct candidate sourcing and compliance-focused vetting.
  • Sourcing Tools:

    Expert-level working knowledge of all major sourcing platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Contract Acumen:

    Foundational knowledge of US contract types (W2, C2C, C2H) and the compliance factors associated with each.
  • Work Ethic:

    Demonstrated history of strong organizational skills, high personal accountability, and the proven ability to manage time effectively under demanding deadlines.
