Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive Investor Relation Associate to join our Investor Relations

team. The role involves sourcing, evaluating, and managing funding opportunities,

building relationships with investors/lenders and supporting capital-raising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential investors/lenders for Debt, Stressed Asset, Special

Situations, Debt Restructuring, and Equity Funding opportunities.

  • Build and maintain a strong network of Banks, NBFCs, Institutional Fund

Houses, VCs, PEs, Family Offices, HNIs, and Ultra HNIs.

  • Conduct matchmaking of transactions with suitable investors/lenders based on

their investment criteria and risk appetite.

  • Lead investor outreach, negotiations, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Liaise with credit, operations, and management teams for term sheet

finalization and transaction sanctioning.

  • Establish and implement SOPs for investor onboarding, engagement, and

reporting to ensure transparency and compliance.

  • Conduct risk assessment, due diligence, and investor compliance checks.
  • Monitor investor details, track engagement, and ensure seamless collaboration

with internal teams.

  • Represent the company at investor forums, industry events, and networking

platforms to enhance visibility.

  • Consistently achieve targets for investor/lender onboarding, term sheets,

sanctions, and capital-raising initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of Debt, Equity, and Structured Financing, financial

markets, private equity, and capital-raising strategies

  • Expertise in risk assessment, due diligence, and investor compliance
  • Ability to strategize outreach initiatives and match transactions with appropriate

investors/lenders

  • Proactive, target-driven, and collaborative across teams
  • High business acumen, professionalism, and integrity

Qualifications

  • Preferred: MBA (Finance) from a premier institute
  • Basic Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or courses in corporate finance, wealth

management, or investor relations

  • Additional certifications in banking, financial analysis, or related fields

preferred

Experience

  • 2 4 years in Financial Services, Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Banking &

Lending departments

  • Experience with sourcing and managing large-ticket funding or lending

opportunities
