Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily backend operations for various mutual fund schemes.
Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of scheme cash and unit positions, liaising with custodians and transfer agents.
Prepare, analyze, and present MIS (Management Information System) reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to mutual fund operations.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Manage and mentor junior team members.
Collaborate with front office, IT, and other departments to resolve operational issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 4-6 years in mutual funds backend operations, fund administration, or a similar role in the financial services industry.
Domain Expertise: Strong, in-depth knowledge of Mutual Funds operational processes (trade settlement, NAV calculation support, corporate actions, etc.).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Advance Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, VBA preferred).
Experience with mutual fund accounting or operations software.

Core Competencies:

Expertise in various types of Reconciliation.
Proven ability to generate and analyze MIS reports.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, FRM, NISM certifications) is a plus.
