We are Hiring for Safety Officerr For Karnataka- Kudligi & Toravi location for our client wind/solar industry company. Job Description- Key responsibilities : Develop sustainable HSE culture at site with participation & providing HSE indusction to all employees, contractor workers & visitors. Identify Hazardous & unsafe conditions & situations at workplace and company premises. Encourage & promote to workers & managers for sharing & reporting of nearmiss, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, accidents, hazardous observations. Ensure participation of workers & managers including contractors in preparation of HSE documentation & document review - HIRA, AIA, emergency prepardness plan, waste management, ESG data etc. Share the information to all employees about near misses, incidents, accidents through HSE alerts, HSE meetings & toolbox talk Arrange HSE Committee meetings according to decided agenda, record MOM & monitor actions to closure of actionable points Prepare monthly reports. Maintain HSE MIS with back up data Ensure to use good condition & mandatory PPEs, Tools, equipments while working by workers Prepare QHSE training calender & implement at site. In case of any incident, arrange investigation along with investigation committee. Find out RCA & take recommended actions at workplace Ensure to follow PTW, TBT & LOTO by all site workers Ensure & Check HSE compliances Ensure waste collection arrangement & waste disposal according to set guidelines & in compliance with SPCB/NPCB Inspects the site work place to ensure it is a hazard-free environment. Ensure to inspect contractors safety & their HSE plan Prepare monthly report & presentation for site HSE performance Conduct mockdrills at decided intervals, ensure all employees shall aware on mockdrills & on site emergency plan Participate & provide input in Legal register review Educational qualifications Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering from a Govt recognised institution. Additional qualification desirable but not essential. Experience Minimum 5+ years of experience in handling HSE department in reputed organisations Should have worked under IMS culture (ISO) Should have handled ESG data Handling vendors, stakeholders, employees effectively Managed workplaces with good HSE track record Looking for candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days.
