Role & responsibilities

Position Summary:

Domestic IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and attract qualified candidates

    using a variety of platforms, such as LinkedIn, job boards, and local job fairs, as well as through networking and direct outreach.
  • Screen resumes

    and evaluate candidates qualifications based on the requirements of open positions in areas such as software development, systems engineering, data science, DevOps, IT support, and more.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews

    to assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers

    to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and to ensure that candidates align with company goals and values.
  • Coordinate and schedule technical interviews,

    including coding assessments, technical screenings, and follow-up interviews as needed.
  • Manage candidate relationships throughout the hiring process,

    providing a positive candidate experience by keeping them informed and engaged.
  • Negotiate offers

    in coordination with HR and hiring managers, ensuring alignment with company compensation structures.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline

    of prospective candidates to support future hiring needs, ensuring efficient access to qualified talent.
  • Stay updated on industry trends

    and best practices in IT recruitment, ensuring that recruitment strategies remain competitive.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

    in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience

    in IT recruiting, with a proven track record of successful placements in a domestic market.
  • Strong understanding of IT roles

    and terminology, including software engineering, infrastructure, cloud computing, data science, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

    with the ability to engage and evaluate candidates effectively.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS)

    and sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards.
  • Strong negotiation skills

    and the ability to work with hiring managers to develop competitive offers.
  • Ability to work under pressure

    and manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with employment laws

    and regulations related to hiring in the local market.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.
  • Certification in recruitment (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter).
  • Background in technical recruiting within [specific industry, e.g., software, networking, cloud services
