Key responsibilities:VP Design Architect -16-25yrs

Project Planning and Execution

Develop comprehensive project plans for high-end interior finishes, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Oversee the execution of projects to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

Identify and engage with reputable vendors, contractors, and suppliers for interior finishes.

Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and monitor performance to ensure delivery of high-quality materials and services.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Lead a team of designers, contractors, and project managers, providing guidance and support throughout all project phases.

Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence in execution.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Implement quality assurance processes to uphold high standards of craftsmanship and finishes.

Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior finishes.

Budget and Cost Management:

Develop and manage budgets for interior finish projects, monitoring expenses and controlling costs effectively.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design integrity.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams regarding interior finishes.

Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges in a clear and timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in interior design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Masters degree preferred.

Proven experience 20 years in managing high-end interior finish projects within the real estate or construction industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).

Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior finishes.

Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent.

Experience working with luxury real estate developers or high-profile clients.

Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

AVP Interiors 8-15 years

Roles and Responsibilities

• Department Leadership & Management:

  Lead and manage the interior design department, including the curation and oversight of design collections, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.

• Collection Strategy Development:

  Develop, implement, and refine strategies to optimize collection processes, enhance design quality, and improve operational efficiency within the department.

• Client Coordination & Relationship Management:

  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project lifecycles; understand and interpret their design needs, provide expert advice, and ensure client satisfaction at every stage.

• Project Oversight:

  Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to guarantee projects are completed on schedule, within financial limits, and to the highest standards.

• Cross-Department Collaboration:

  Work closely with other internal teams such as procurement, marketing, and production to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any challenges that arise.

• Industry Awareness & Innovation:

  Stay informed on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the interior design field, integrating innovative ideas and techniques into the departments workflow.

• Team Development:

  Mentor and support the growth of junior designers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

• Educational Background:

  Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Professional Experience:

  8 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the interior design industry, with a strong emphasis on managing and developing design collections.

• Project Management Expertise:

  Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage resources effectively under tight deadlines.

• Technical Proficiency:

  Advanced skills in interior design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design tools.

• Communication Skills:

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and team members professionally and persuasively.

• Industry Knowledge:

  Deep understanding of current and emerging trends in interior design, including materials, finishes, colour palettes, and spatial planning.

• Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:
