Job Description

Unit Manager - IT / Senior Unit Manager - IT
Job Purpose
Support and act as a key team member of Business Compliance units for ensuring end-to-end monitoring, adherence, and oversight in designated technology compliance checkpoints and areas, to achieve regulatory, security, and governance adherence. Duties and Responsibilities

Support and act as a key team member of Business Compliance units for ensuring end-to-end monitoring, adherence, and oversight in technology compliance checkpoints and areas for achieving regulatory, security, and governance adherence.

Assist the team to ensure compliance across all relevant areas.

Review user access to systems and applications on a periodic basis and assist business heads in providing sign-off.

Review technology controls in systems under the guidance and checklists provided by IT and central compliance teams.

Implement changes in processes wherever required to ensure regulatory adherence, ensuring principles of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.

Ensure readily available data for all audits, regulatory reporting, and filings.

Interact with statutory, internal, and regulatory auditors as needed for assigned processes.

Respond to, track, and ensure closure of actions arising out of audits.

Demonstrate excellent hands-on experience in MS Excel and proficiency in data analytics.

Show technical and functional understanding of lending applications and adopt a process-oriented mindset.

Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team with diversified experience.

Key Decisions / Dimensions

Determine the scope and methodology of process implementation for the assigned area.

Initiate necessary interventions in processes wherever required.

Major Challenges

Understanding the complex IT and business environment and applying existing regulations and controls accordingly.

Ensuring horizontal processes and checks are in place with minimal errors.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications

BE/B.Tech with 1-4 years of experience in IT process, governance, compliance, reviews, or similar non-development roles.

Willingness to work in a compliance function, owning IT processes end-to-end.

Work Experience

Strong technical knowledge of relevant domains and ability to stay updated with the latest technologies.

Strong analytical skills.

Highly motivated, self-starter, agile, and quick learner.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with clarity of thought.

Demonstrated success and achievement orientation.
