Job Description

To ensure quality HR admin functioning as well as a learning & development programmes across the unit and to ensure a healthy HR atmosphere amongst the associates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitoring HR activities in operationalized as well as start-up units.
  • Implementing HR strategies at optimum cost.
  • Assisting in formulation and implementation of HR policies.
  • Handling all statutory and legal compliances.
  • Overseeing the design and development of compensation strategies and programmes.
  • Ensuring smooth and harmonious industrial relations and employer relations.
  • Establishing fair, transparent and effective performance appraisal management systems.
  • Formulating policies on employee retention and engagement strategies to reduce attrition.
  • Evaluating company culture and providing recommendation on changes to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Evaluating and recommending improvements to benefit programmes.
  • Coordinating with the administration in the negotiation of contracts.
  • Working out agreements for contract staff.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS & DELIVERABLES FOR UNIT HR HEAD

  • Required knowledge: The job requires experience in strategic planning and execution, knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management.
  • Required skills: The candidate should have knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications.
  • Role complexity: The job demands willingness to work on a flexible schedule and within timelines; needs to be empathetic towards employee requirements.
  • Interpersonal skills: The job requires maintaining good interpersonal relations with other departments and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Supervisory skills: Supervisory skills needed to ensure effective functioning of Human Resources Department at unit; ability to motivate teams to produce quality HR practices is crucial.
  • Independent judgment: The candidate will be called upon to render independent judgment within the policy framework.

  • Leadership responsibilities: The job requires needs adequate leadership and supervisory skills to mentor the HR team.

  • Impact & consequences of errors: Improper planning, supervision and communication will lead to employee disengagement and impact mandatory statutes.

  • Working conditions: The candidate will be required to work within timelines and related work pressures.

  • Reports/records: The candidate will be required to ensure appropriate maintenance of records by subordinates.

  • MBA / MHM (HR) / IR experience & formal training: MHM (HR)/MBA (HR)/MHRM/MSW Diploma in IRPM with at least 10-15 years of experience in a senior-level human resources position.
  • Must be from Hospital / Healthcare domain
  • Proficient in English and Hindi.
