Unit Head

Role Overview: As the Unit Head- Business Operations, you will be the Strategic Business Leadership officer of the Hospital, accountable for specific deliverables to the Management. Your primary authority and responsibility will involve designing, managing, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, implementing best practices in Hospital Administration, and developing Patient Care, Administrative Services, Governing Policies, and Standard Operating Procedures. You will work closely with the Medical Director and Consultants to evaluate clinical programs and deliver reliable healthcare services, competitive packages, cost-effective operational procedures, support services, and administration for the Hospital. Additionally, you will be responsible for the P&L for Operations, turnover, and adhering to operative margins as per the business plan. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for all operational activities at the unit level. - Plan and develop revenue-generating programs from autonomous departments. - Forecast and prepare the annual operating plan with the Medical Director. - Identify and focus on profitable service lines. - Collect and address patient feedback in consultation with the Medical Director. - Ensure liaison and statutory requirements are met in the unit. - Monitor costs and explore initiatives to control costs and generate revenue. - Review the execution of operational tasks, such as infrastructure growth, recruitment, performance reviews, and compensation, to ensure alignment with SOP and business plan. - Collaborate with central procurement and pharmacy functions to optimize costs. - Develop consensus among department heads on operational matters before budget development. Qualifications Required: - Minimum Qualifications: MBA in Hospital Management or Hospital Administration. - Technical Qualifications: Proficiency in MS Office. - Ability to handle administration and operations of the unit. - Excellent written and communication skills. - Mandatory relevant experience of at least 7 to 12 years in Hospital Operations.,
