UK Account Manager

Role Overview

We are hiring a UK Accounts Manager with fluent communication skills, strong technical expertise, and proven team-management experience to lead a team of 5–15 accountants while handling end-to-end UK accounting, compliance, and tax deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Close

• Oversee full-cycle UK bookkeeping (Xero / QuickBooks / Sage)

• Manage monthly, quarterly & year-end close

• Prepare management accounts, reconciliations, accruals & prepayments

• Ensure audit-ready books and high-quality workpapers

UK Tax & Compliance

• Prepare & review UK Corporation Tax (CT600)

• Handle UK VAT returns (Standard, Flat Rate, Partial Exemption)

• Support self-assessment & business tax filings

• Strong understanding of HMRC regulations & deadlines

• Liaise with UK clients, tax advisors, and stakeholders

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of 5–15 accountants

• Review work, provide feedback, and ensure quality control

• Allocate tasks, manage deadlines, and drive productivity

• Train team members on UK accounting & tax best practices

• Act as the technical escalation point

Client & Communication Excellence

• Fluent verbal & written English communication

• Confidently manage UK client calls, emails, and reviews

• Translate complex accounting & tax matters into clear insights

• Build long-term client trust through accuracy and responsiveness

Required Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in:

• UK bookkeeping

• Year-end accounts

• Corporation Tax

• VAT preparation

• Experience managing UK business entities

• Knowledge of UK GAAP & FRS 102

• Proven ability to lead teams and handle pressure

• High attention to detail with ownership mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
