Your role involves collaborating closely with the CTO, product managers, and engineering teams to maintain design excellence across all UniSouk platforms and lead the team towards delivering a world-class user experience. As a leader, you will mentor and lead a team of UI/UX designers, nurturing creativity, growth, and ownership within the team. You will define and uphold design standards, systems, and guidelines across products, oversee design workflows to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes, conduct regular design reviews, and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Additionally, staying updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation within the team is a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for owning and executing the end-to-end design process, from user research to high-fidelity mockups. This includes creating wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual designs using tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, developing user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns aligned with user needs, conducting usability tests, analyzing feedback, and iterating on designs to enhance the user experience while ensuring accessibility, mobile-friendliness, and performance optimization. Collaboration with product and engineering teams is essential to translate business goals into user-centered design solutions. You will work with stakeholders across departments to align design efforts with the overall product vision and roadmap, present design concepts and strategies to leadership and other teams for feedback and alignment, and contribute to strategic discussions regarding product direction, user experience priorities, and feature planning. To qualify for this role, you need at least 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or senior design position. Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and related design tools is required, along with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design. A deep understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and mobile-first design, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills, is crucial. Experience in designing for SaaS platforms or e-commerce products would be advantageous. Bonus skills that would be beneficial for this role include experience with A/B testing and data-informed design decisions, familiarity with design systems and component-based design, the ability to create illustrations, icons, and brand visuals, and exposure to motion design tools like Adobe After Effects or similar.,
