UI Architect

Location - Kochi, Trivandrum

Experience- 10+ years

The position is to drive the UI revamp initiative within the product and would be working in the UI / UX design complying to the industry standards and in the latest UI technologies. This will involve RnD in the related areas and adopting it to the product through the roadmap. This will cover the areas including mobility, UI analytics, UI Automation.

The candidate would be working in collaboration with the DevOps team in building the CI and CD of the UI components.

Roles & responsibilities-

1. The candidate will be the technical owner of the UI UX for the product. He/she would drive the UI vision for the product and should conceptualise the UI roadmap and its design.

2. The candidate would be responsible for the NFR aspects (security, performance) of the UI layer.

3. The candidate would be responsible in managing the UI development team and responsible for the revamp deliverables.

4. The candidate would have to do the RnD in the related areas and provide the improvement suggestions.

5. The candidate would have to help in debugging and providing resolutions to the production issues.

6. The candidate will be involved in sprints by actively participating in events (such as backlog refinement, planning, review, and retrospectives) and will work on delivering the assigned stories.

Technical Qualifications-

1. Expert knowledge of Angular

2. Expert knowledge of TypeScript, SCSS and HTML5

3. Good knowledge of libraries like RxJS and Angular CDK

4. Basic knowledge of Node JS

5. Experience with state management (preferably NGXS or NgRx)

6. Understanding of the Nx monorepo concept

7. Strong Web Application concepts and mark-up languages JSON

8. Exposure to Mobility Frameworks

9. Compliances Knowhow – GDPR & PCI

10. Single Sign On & Federated Identity Management

11. UI Automation Testing

12. UI Level Security & Penetration Testing knowhow

13. UI Network Sizing

14. Hands-on experience in trouble shooting angular application in production environment

15. Exposure to Agile methodologies & processes

16. Exposure to Cloud (Preferably AWS)

17. Aligns with industry technical design & coding standards

18. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

19. Knowledge in UI Analytics

20. UI Optimizations (with Google Light House or similar tools)

21. Familiarity with Micro Front End Architecture – (with Single SPA)

22. Containerization using Docker for Angular/Node JS application will be an advantage.

23. Knowledge in server side & Database development is an added advantage

24. Hands on knowledge in OOPs concepts, Core Java, Design Patterns will be an advantage
