UAV Application Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drone Application Developer to join our team to develop cutting-edge drone applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in programming single-board computers (SBCs), particularly NVIDIA Jetson platforms, and a passion for autonomous systems and aerial robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize software applications for drone systems running on embedded platforms.
• Optimize code for performance, power efficiency, and real-time constraints on embedded systems.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of drone applications in simulation and field environments.
• Document technical specifications, code, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Implement computer vision and AI algorithms on NVIDIA Jetson boards for real-time processing.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience programming single-board computers, specifically NVIDIA Jetson platforms (Nano, TX2, Xavier, Orin).
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded systems development.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and embedded Linux development.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 for robotics applications (preferred).
• Familiarity with drone autopilot systems and MAVLink protocol.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in resource-constrained environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• Experience with sensor integration (cameras, LiDAR, IMU, GPS).
• Previous work on commercial or research drone projects.
