Trims & Accessories Executive

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trims & Accessories Executive to join our garment manufacturing team, with a special focus on T-shirt production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and coordinating all trims and accessories required for the manufacturing process. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing & Procurement:
• Identify and source high-quality trims and accessories such as labels, buttons, zippers, threads, and other materials specific to T-shirt manufacturing.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of suppliers and vendors.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of trims and accessories to ensure adequate stock is available for production needs.
• Implement inventory control systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect and ensure the quality of all trims and accessories meets the company's standards and specifications.
• Address any quality issues with suppliers and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordination with Production:
• Work closely with the production team to understand their requirements and timelines for trims and accessories.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of trims and accessories to the production floor to avoid any delays in the manufacturing process.
• Provide support in resolving any issues related to trims and accessories during production.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, delivery notes, and inventory reports.
• Prepare regular reports on the status of trims and accessories, including usage, stock levels, and any discrepancies.
• Cost Management:
• Monitor and manage the budget for trims and accessories, ensuring procurement is within allocated budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
• Market Research:
• Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in trims and accessories.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative materials that could benefit the company's production processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the garment manufacturing industry, preferably in T-shirt production.
• Strong knowledge of trims and accessories used in garment manufacturing.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with suppliers.
• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly trims and accessories.
• Familiarity with MS Excel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
