Treasury Operations Manager

Job Purpose

working capital management, banking relationships, trade finance instruments, and cost optimization

Key Responsibilities

Working Capital & Banking Operations

• Ensure

  effective utilization and monitoring of working capital limits

  across multiple banks
• Manage

  enhancement of existing limits, additional limits, and structuring of new facilities

  to optimize finance costs
• Coordinate with banks for

  renewal and enhancement of working capital facilities

• Ensure compliance with all

  sanction terms and conditions

Documentation & Security

• Handle

  documentation for working capital sanctions

  , agreements, and related banking documents
• Ensure

  security perfection

  for all working capital limits, including charge creation and compliance requirements

Trade Finance (BG / LC)

• Ensure

  timely issuance of Bank Guarantees (BGs) and Letters of Credit (LCs)

  as per business requirements

• Vet all BG/LC clauses

  prior to issuance to mitigate financial and legal risks
• Coordinate with internal

  export/import teams

  for trade finance and banking requirements

Banking Charges & Cost Control

• Ensure

  banking charges, interest rates, and fees

  are applied strictly as per sanctioned terms
• Identify opportunities to

  reduce financing and transaction costs

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain

  treasury MIS

  , including utilization, limits, costs, and banking performance
• Provide regular reports and analysis to the Treasury Head
  

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Strong

  banking knowledge with specialization in working capital management

• Hands-on experience in

  trade finance instruments

  such as Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees (BG)
• Sound understanding of multi-bank working capital arrangements and sanction structures
  

Behavioral & Competency Skills

• Strong

  strategic, analytical, and logical thinking

• Excellent

  communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple banking relationships
