Treasury Operations Manager

Purpose of the Job

The main responsibility of the Back office Treasury is the processing of all treasury transactions in a correct manner, identifying treasury funding gaps and developing funding proposals, analysis of treasury activities, processing treasury transactions in the treasury management system, analyzing treasury risk and reporting.

Deliverables

• Thorough knowledge of

  Fixed Income and Money market

  Products
• Ensuring timely settlement, reporting and confirmation processing
• Ensuring regulatory and internal compliance at the time of validation and settlement
• Settlement and confirmation processing and control, plus query resolution. Ensure full segregation of treasury back office functions.
• Oversee the input and processing of treasury transactions into the main accounting system.
• Coordination of statutory accounts from a treasury perspective.
• Responsible for all treasury management reporting

  This includes monthly Treasury Reports for senior management, working with the business units on cash reporting and analysis, plus ad-hoc projects and support to the Treasurer and Treasury Mid-office.
• Maintain, review and implement business risk controls.
• Maintenance, administration and development of the Treasury Management System, to improve efficiency, maintain control, and enable better visibility of treasury transactions.
• Reconciliation of SGL account, NEFT/RTGS products

Demonstrate

1. Knowledge of Treasury Products with in depth understanding of Fixed Income and Money market (FIMM) Products
2. Knowledge of internal and external guidelines related to FIMM, complete understanding of RBI circulars and other quasi regulatory agencies like CCIL, Exchanges, NSDL etc. Knowledge of various platforms/utilities/applications NDS-OM,NDS-Call, TREPS,RTGS,E-Kuber, FTRAC 3. Ability to work within fixed and short timeframes, especially for dealing and settlement.

4. Good analytical, reporting and spreadsheet skills.
