Job Description:

As a Travel Sales Specialist at Variety Vacations, you will be responsible for creating and selling travel packages to individual and corporate clients. Your primary objective will be to assist clients in planning and booking their dream vacations, ensuring their travel needs and preferences are met. You will work closely with clients, utilizing your travel knowledge and exceptional sales skills to provide outstanding service and exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budgetary constraints.

Recommend and customize travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, activities, and travel insurance, based on clients' needs.

Research and stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry developments.

Provide detailed information on travel packages, including pricing, inclusions, and terms and conditions.

Process bookings and reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support before, during, and after their trips.

Upsell additional services and amenities to enhance clients' travel experiences.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination and execution of travel arrangements.

Stay informed about visa requirements, health and safety advisories, and other travel-related regulations.

Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Requirements:

Previous experience in travel sales or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Strong passion for travel and extensive knowledge of popular destinations, airlines, hotels, and travel products.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring clients' needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of multitasking and managing multiple client requests simultaneously.

Proficient in using travel booking software and online reservation systems.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Familiarity with international travel regulations, visa requirements, and travel insurance is an asset.

A diploma or degree in travel and tourism or a related field is preferred.
