Job Overview

Travel Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with potential clients via calls, emails, walk-ins, and social media to understand travel requirements.
• Design and sell customized international travel packages.
• Convert leads into successful bookings through persuasive selling techniques.
• Handle end-to-end trip planning: itinerary creation, hotel bookings, flight reservations, visa coordination, etc.
• Maintain updated knowledge of destinations, travel regulations, and vendor offerings.
• Build long-term relationships with clients through outstanding customer service and post-sale support.
• Coordinate with suppliers, DMCs, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of travel plans.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Requirements

• Proven experience in travel sales or a related field (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Sound knowledge of international destinations and current travel trends.
• Familiarity with GDS or travel booking systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and a passion for travel.

Preferred qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Background in tourism industry as a Travel Consultant for minimum of 3 years is must.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Patience and perseverance when unforeseen issues arise
• Ability to work independently or with a team if needed
