Travel Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, ensuring seamless experiences tailored to their needs and preferences.
Core Function:
· Handle domestic and international travel queries, sell holiday packages, manage hotel bookings, sell air tickets and close travel sales deals.
· Handle domestic & international travel inquiries from B2C clients (via calls, WhatsApp, & emails).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Consultation:
· Engage with clients to understand their travel requirements, preferences, and budgets.
· Provide detailed information on destinations, accommodations, tours, and activities.
· Offer personalized travel recommendations based on client interests and expectations.
Itinerary Planning:
· Create and customize travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
· Ensure itineraries are well-structured, within budget, and aligned with client preferences.
Booking and Reservations:
· Arrange and confirm bookings for flights, hotels, rental cars, and tours.
· Handle travel-related documentation, such as visas, insurance, and tickets.
· Manage booking modifications and ensure smooth travel arrangements.
Flight Ticketing:
· Handle domestic and international air ticketing and Process flight reservations and issue tickets through B2B booking platforms.
· Manage fare rules, reissues, cancellations, and refunds Process
· PNR creations and ticketing as per client requirements
· Managing group bookings and special requests (meals, seats, extra baggage, etc.).
· Ensuring error-free issuance and timely delivery of tickets.
· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, schedules, and promotional fares
Customer Support:
· Provide assistance before, during, and after travel, addressing any concerns or unexpected issues.
· Support clients with changes or cancellations in their travel plans.
Industry Knowledge & Supplier Relations:
· Stay informed about the latest travel trends, destination updates, new accommodations, and airline regulations.
· Build and maintain relationships with travel suppliers and vendors to secure the best deals and services.
Sales & Marketing:
· Promote and sell travel packages, special deals, and additional services.
· Upsell value-added services such as travel insurance, guided tours, and premium experiences.
· Contribute in knowledge base and sales/marketing material (Print /Digital) development
Administrative Tasks:
· Maintain accurate records of client bookings, interactions, and payments.
· Ensure invoicing and payment processing are handled efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person
Pay: Approx. ₹15,000.00 per month (Also Depends on Previous Salary) + attractive sales incentives
Requirements:
· Good typing speed and knowledge in Microsoft Office Products - Outlook/Word/Excel
· Fluency in English, Hindi, Gujarati and any additional Indian language is a plus
Education:
· Diploma/Bachelor's (Preferred)
· Experience:
· Prior experience as a Travel Consultant / Travel Executive / Holiday Package Sales Consultant.
· Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to close travel deals independently and work under target pressure.
