Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Expert with proven experience in roadway design, junction improvements , and traffic simulation to join our infrastructure and transportation planning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading, reviewing, and executing technical design and modeling solutions for urban and regional road network improvement projects. This position is critical in delivering innovative, safe, and sustainable transportation solutions. Responsibilities Lead and establish detailed designs of road networks , including urban arterials, highways, rural roads, and service roads. Analyze and propose junction/intersection improvements using geometric design principles, traffic movement studies, and capacity analysis. Develop and interpret traffic simulation models. Conduct traffic studies including volume counts, origin-destination surveys, travel time analysis, and intersection performance evaluations. Provide technical input to feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) , and urban transport planning documents. Coordinate with civil engineers, CAD technicians, planners, and stakeholders to integrate traffic and design components. Interpret and apply relevant IRC, MoRTH, AASHTO, and IRC-SP guidelines in road and junction designs. Prepare transportation modeling reports , presentations, and technical documentation for stakeholders and clients. Support project management in cost estimation, scheduling, and technical approvals . Liaise with clients, government departments, and consultants as required for technical discussions and presentations. Qualifications Master's degree in Civil Engineering / Transportation Engineering / Urban Planning. Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a strong background in roadway geometric design , intersection/junction design , and traffic modeling . Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D , MX Road , OpenRoads , or similar design tools. Expertise in traffic simulation software. Strong understanding of IRC , MoRTH , AASHTO , and international best practices . Demonstrated ability to interpret traffic data and provide practical, cost-effective design solutions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information clearly. Experience in public infrastructure projects (urban and rural) is desirable. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Show more Show less
