Bloomingdale International School is seeking a Transport Incharge to lead and streamline our school transport services, ensuring punctuality, student safety, and operational excellence every day. 🔍 About the Role: The Transport Incharge will manage the school’s entire transport system—from route planning and vehicle maintenance to driver supervision and compliance with safety regulations. This is a critical operations role focused on ensuring a smooth and secure daily commute for students and staff. 🎯 Key Responsibilities: 1. Transport Planning & Coordination Plan and manage daily transport schedules in sync with academic timings. Maintain updated lists of student transport users. Optimize bus routes for time efficiency and safety. 2. Vehicle Operations & Maintenance Oversee regular servicing, inspections, and repairs of school vehicles. Ensure cleanliness, readiness, and fitness of all vehicles. Track fuel usage and maintain vehicle logbooks. 3. Driver & Staff Supervision Lead and supervise drivers and transport assistants. Prepare duty rosters, ensure attendance, and monitor conduct. Conduct regular training on safety practices and professional behavior. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure full compliance with RTO guidelines and school safety protocols. Handle emergencies (breakdowns, accidents) swiftly and effectively. Conduct periodic safety checks and drills. 5. Communication & Documentation Address parent queries related to transport. Submit regular reports to the Operations Manager. Maintain accurate records of licenses, permits, and documentation. ✅ Ideal Candidate Should Have: 3–5 years of relevant experience (school transport experience preferred). Knowledge of local transport regulations and vehicle upkeep. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Working knowledge of MS Excel and GPS tracking tools.
