Job Title: Transport Manager / Logistics Manager
Location: Should be willing to work all over india
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in Transport Operations
Qualification:

• Degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering (Mandatory)
• MBA in Logistics/Supply Chain (Preferred)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Transport Manager to oversee and manage our company’s daily transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for onboarding drivers, maintaining vehicle records, and ensuring smooth execution of daily transport and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboard and Train Drivers & Transporters:
• Recruit, onboard, and train new drivers and transporters on company policies and safety protocols.
• Develop & Manage Halt Stations:
• Identify and establish halt stations for optimized driver rest and vehicle refueling.
• Maintain halt station facilities and services.
• Daily Operations Management:
• Supervise and manage daily vehicle movements and driver schedules.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of all orders.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Ensure all driver licenses, vehicle insurance, permits, and fitness certificates are valid and updated.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all transport activities.
• Fleet & Driver Coordination:
• Monitor vehicle performance and arrange for regular servicing and maintenance.
• Address driver concerns, route planning, and problem resolution.
• Order & Delivery Management:
• Coordinate daily logistics to fulfill customer orders efficiently and on time.
• Maintain logs and reports on deliveries and transportation performance.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Automobile Engineering
• MBA in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (added advantage)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transport/logistics management
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, driver handling, and compliance requirements
• Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using basic logistics or transport software is a plus
