Job Description

As the Training Manager at Six Senses, you will play a crucial role in understanding and embodying the organization's vision, values, and core pillars of Sustainability, Wellness, and Out of the Ordinary experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the strategic planning, development, and implementation of training initiatives that align with the brand's ethos and operating standards. You will be tasked with leading Training and Development strategies, managing their implementation, and assessing their impact on the organization. Your key duties include developing new training programs, evaluating existing ones, and identifying training needs through job analysis and consultations with other managers. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of the training department with business goals, evaluating performance, and optimizing training processes for efficiency. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and delivering training sessions using various methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, and workshops. You will also be responsible for creating training manuals, multimedia aids, and educational materials, as well as maintaining training records and staying updated on external courses for hosts. Collaborating with the Home Office to design satisfactory training programs and participating in talent development initiatives will be essential aspects of your role. To excel as the Training Manager, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field, along with over five years of experience in a leadership role in Learning and Development within luxury hospitality settings. Fluency in English, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools, and the ability to handle various equipment are also required. In addition to your training responsibilities, you will be involved in talent management, mentorship programs, and collaborating with the Director of Human Resources on goal setting and reviews. Upholding legal, financial, and safety protocols, as well as contributing to the overall success of the hotel through effective budgetary controls, will be part of your daily operations.
