You will work within a team of professionals to manage learning processes at the site level, delivering effective mandatory training and skill-building programs to help employees excel in their current roles. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand the business or function strategy, model, and goals to identify critical skill gaps needed to achieve those goals. - Support the integration of the talent agenda into local business priorities and contribute to the development of learning processes. - Own and manage the local compliance training matrix, aligning it with global standards and driving standardization and modernization of learning locally. - Develop learning and development solutions tailored to meet specific site needs and address any gaps in skills and training. - Manage all global and local learning programs and events effectively at the site, ensuring continual delivery and alignment with business goals. - Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and address specific skill needs that are not covered by global products, translating them into customized learning solutions. - Create an inclusive environment to manage, coach, mentor, and develop the team, promoting continuous learning and knowledge sharing. - Support the Training and Development Manager in cost and partner recovery for learning initiatives and contribute to local career development programs. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in organizational development, business administration, engineering, or a related field. - Significant experience in upstream or downstream operations within a regulated environment, with exposure to people processes. - Experience in complex or matrixed organizations, preferably within HR, focusing on skills management programs, performance management, or workforce planning. - Ability to deliver balanced solutions by combining business-specific expertise with a strong understanding of people development. **Additional Details:** At bp, you will be part of an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes continuous learning and growth.
