Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Life Insurance Trainer to conduct comprehensive training for our 

sales and operations teams. The role involves delivering product knowledge, compliance training, 

sales techniques, and onboarding sessions for new and existing employees, especially new agents 

entering the insurance domain. 

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct onboarding training for new agents, ensuring they understand life insurance 

concepts, company processes, and product offerings. 

 Train new agents and existing team members on insurance fundamentals, product features, 

sales pitch, and objection handling. 

 Deliver structured sessions on Life Insurance products such as Term Plans, ULIPs, 

Endowment Plans, Riders, etc. 

 Provide training on IRDAI compliance, regulations, and ethical sales practices.

 Develop and update training curriculum, SOPs, presentations, and learning materials.

 Assess trainee understanding through quizzes, role-plays, case studies, and evaluations.

 Identify performance gaps and design improvement plans for individuals and teams.

 Work closely with Operations, Quality, and HR to ensure training effectiveness.

 Maintain detailed training records, aƩendance sheets, assessments, and progress reports.

 Provide ongoing on-job training (OJT) and floor support to improve agent performance. 

 Stay updated with new product launches, updates, and industry trends and communicate 

them to the team. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Graduate in any discipline (Insurance certifications preferred).

 3–5 years of training experience in the Life Insurance sector (Mandatory). 

 Strong understanding of life insurance products, underwriting basics, riders, claims process, 

etc. 

 Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

 Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for new agents. 

 Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

 Strong analytical thinking and ability to evaluate trainee performance.
