Job Title: Trainer - Application Developer (Web & Mobile)

Job Description:

The Trainer – Application Developer (Web & Mobile) is responsible for delivering competency-based training aligned with Qualification Packs (QP) and National Occupational Standards (NOS). The role focuses on equipping candidates with industry-ready web and mobile application development skills, ensuring assessment success, certification, and placement readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. NSDC / SSC-Aligned Training Delivery

• Deliver training strictly as per SSC-approved QP, NOS, and curriculum.
• Follow NSDC Common Norms, batch structure, and training hours.
• Ensure outcome-based and learner-centric training delivery.

2. Technical Training – Web Development

Train candidates on:

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Responsive Web Design
• Front-end frameworks (basic level): React / Angular / Vue
• Introduce backend fundamentals:
• Server-side scripting (Node.js / Python / Java – basic)
• REST APIs (conceptual + practical)
• Database basics (MySQL / MongoDB)

3. Technical Training – Mobile Application Development

Deliver training on:

• Android application development (Java / Kotlin – basic)
• Cross-platform development (Flutter / React Native – introductory)
• Explain mobile UI/UX principles and app lifecycle.
• Guide learners on API integration and local storage concepts.

4. Practical Training & Projects

• Conduct hands-on lab sessions and coding exercises.
• Guide candidates through SSC-aligned practical tasks, mini-projects, and capstone projects.
• Ensure prescribed theory–practical ratio is maintained.

5. Assessment & Certification Support

• Prepare candidates for:
• SSC theory and practical assessments
• Mock tests and internal evaluations
• Coordinate with SSC-appointed assessors during assessments.
• Ensure assessment documentation and readiness.

6. Candidate Mentoring & Employability Skills

• Mentor candidates on:
• Professional conduct and workplace ethics
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Support resume preparation and interview readiness for junior developer roles.

7. Compliance & Documentation

Maintain:

• Attendance and batch records
• Session plans and lab logs
• Candidate progress and assessment reports
• Ensure audit readiness for SSC, and State Skill Missions.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• B.E / B.Tech (CS / IT / ECE) / MCA / BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science / IT) /Diploma in Computer Science / IT

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years in web and/or mobile application development or technical training.

Work Location: Guwahati, Assam
