Job Description

Job Description – Telecaller (Tamil Language)

Position - Telecaller (Tamil-Speaking)

Location: Chennai

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to prospective candidates and inform them about upcoming training batches/programs.
Mobilize and counsel candidates on available courses, eligibility.
Maintain candidate database with accurate details and ensure regular follow-ups until enrollment.
Coordinate with the mobilization team/field staff to maximize batch filling.
Generate leads from various sources (cold calls, references, walk-ins, inquiries, job fairs, social media responses, etc.).
Convince and motivate candidates to join the program by addressing their queries and concerns.
Track daily call volumes, conversion ratios, and provide timely reports to management.
Assist in achieving batch enrollment targets within deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Language Proficiency: Fluency in Tamil & English as per requirement.
Strong communication, persuasion, and counselling skills.
Ability to explain training benefits in a clear, motivating, and professional manner.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM, spreadsheets).
Prior experience in mobilization/telecalling/counseling is preferred, but freshers with good communication are also encouraged.

Educational Qualification

Minimum: 10+2 / Intermediate.
Graduates in any discipline preferred.
