Trading Trainee

Key Responsibilities:

 Assist the trading desk in executing buy/sell orders across equities, commodities, and derivatives.

 Monitor real-time market movements, indices, stock performance, and price trends.

 Support in maintaining trading reports, profit & loss statements, and exposure records using MS Excel.

 Perform trade reconciliation and verify executed orders with back-office systems.

 Track market news, economic data, and corporate announcements impacting market trends.

 Coordinate with Risk Management and Compliance teams to ensure trades follow regulatory norms.

 Assist in preparing Excel-based models, reports, and analysis for client portfolios and market research.

 Learn and adapt to trading platforms, software, and analytical tools.

 Support senior dealers in servicing clients by providing timely updates on trades and market insights.

 Participate in training sessions on trading strategies, risk management, and market operations

Skills:

 Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.

 Good understanding of stock market concepts, trading instruments, and financial markets.

 Strong knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts, Data Analysis).

 Analytical mindset with strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

 Basic knowledge of trading platforms (e.g., NSE NOW, ODIN, or similar) is an added advantage.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure trading environment.

Preferred Attributes:

 Passion for stock markets, trading, and investments.

 Certifications like NISM (Series VIII: Equity Derivatives / Series I: Currency Derivatives) preferred.

 Quick learner with eagerness to grow into a Dealer / Trader role.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
