Trade Surveillance Analyst

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting general electronic communications and trading surveillance reviews, focusing on potential insider trading and market manipulation. Additionally, you will monitor daily surveillance reports, review alerts, conduct analysis, and escalate findings as necessary. You will also assist in the investigation and handling of inadvertent receipt of material non-public information (MNPI) and interact with business and compliance teams on compliance matters. Furthermore, you will assist in regulatory examinations, draft compliance policies, monitor regulatory changes, and lead special compliance projects. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct general electronic communications and trading surveillance reviews - Monitor daily surveillance reports and review alerts - Assist in investigation and handling of material non-public information - Interact with business and compliance teams on compliance matters - Assist in regulatory examinations and projects - Draft and amend compliance policies and procedures - Monitor regulatory changes and industry-wide compliance initiatives - Undertake and lead special compliance projects involving various stakeholders Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field preferred, with a strong academic record - 3+ years of experience, preferably in surveillance or related fields at a regulatory authority, bank/broker, or buy-side firm - Experience in the securities and trading industry is preferred - Knowledge of US financial markets is preferred - Previous experience with third-party surveillance platforms - Exceptional written, analytical, and research skills - Strong attention to detail, organization, and effective communication skills - Ability to work effectively and independently with all levels of management and staff - Strong communication and analytical skills with a desire to learn - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify complex problems - Must be a phenomenal teammate with enthusiasm for trading markets - Proficient to advanced computer skills including Bloomberg, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
