Job Description

Role Overview: You will work autonomously and collaborate closely within the Trade Support Team in Paris, London, and New York, as well as with the global Trade & Position Life Cycle Team. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring Middle Office activities and Oversight Control of outsourced activities on multiple instruments, being the main point of contact for Trade Support topics, managing and challenging middle office service providers, handling queries from internal and external clients across Europe and Asia, identifying structural issues, escalating issues to management, and communicating proactively across the team. Additionally, you will participate in various projects related to Trade Support, drive and propose improvements to current processes, and think out of the box to provide pragmatic solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Work autonomously and collaborate within the Trade Support Team in different locations - Ensure Middle Office activities and Oversight Control of outsourced activities on multiple instruments - Be the main point of contact for Trade Support topics and manage internal and external requests from key stakeholders - Manage and challenge middle office service providers - Handle queries from internal and external clients - Be particularly analytical and rigorous in performing tasks and meeting deadlines - Identify structural issues, work on root cause detection and solution implementation - Escalate issues to management as per severity - Communicate proactively across the team - Participate in various projects related to Trade Support and propose improvements to current processes - Think out of the box and propose pragmatic solutions - Build credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Manage and escalate conflicts and issues with stakeholders - Provide regular progress updates on issues, projects, and initiatives - Keep track of all topics being worked on and meet deadlines Qualifications Required: - At least 3 years of experience in the Middle Office area with exposure to various financial instruments - Very good knowledge of asset classes, workflows, settlements, and collateral management - Understanding of the full trade life cycle including middle and back-office functions - Strong experience in an international environment - Experience as Subject Matter Expert in projects/initiatives is a plus - Experience in the Asset Management industry - Experience in an Outsourced Middle Office model is advantageous - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills - Ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and take the lead in meetings - Ability to work independently, provide regular feedback, and escalate when necessary - Drive for constant improvement, structured approach, and questioning the status quo - Enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible to change, and a strong team player - Fluent in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus - Digitalization experience, automation skills (VBA or RPA), and knowledge of Bloomberg AIM is advantageous,
