Position Title: Trade Marketing Executive Job Grade: Sr. Officer / Executive Function/Department: Sales Trade Marketing Region: Pan India (Bangalore, Mangalore, Mysore, Belgaum, Davangere, Kochi, Puducherry) Reporting To: Trade Marketing Manager Position Type: Full-time Position Summary: The Trade Marketing Executive (TME) plays a key role in executing trade marketing strategies and in-store activation plans with precision and efficiency. This position is responsible for enhancing product visibility, increasing retailer engagement, and supporting sales growth across the assigned geography. The role requires a blend of market insight, coordination skills, and on-ground execution excellence to ensure brand objectives are met effectively. Key Responsibilities: Core Functional Responsibilities: Drive tertiary sales growth across assigned channels and geographies. Execute market activation plans to boost market share, product visibility, and brand awareness. Ensure flawless and timely execution of trade promotions across different channels. Maintain retailer preference and ensure strategic placement of assets like chillers and POS materials. Oversee and manage marketing assets deployed in retail outlets. Optimize trade marketing budgets for maximum impact and cost efficiency. Collaborate closely with the sales team to implement trade initiatives in alignment with business goals. Support vendor coordination and logistics at the local level to ensure smooth operations. Evaluate the impact of trade initiatives , providing insights and suggestions for improvements. Monitor and report market trends , competitor activities, and consumer behavior insights. People Management Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to company policies and code of conduct . Monitor and assess performance of Trade Marketing Representatives (TMRs) and ensure optimal deployment. Maintain close coordination with internal stakeholders including TMM, TMRs, ASMs, AMs, TSEs, and third-party vendors. Provide on-ground coaching and feedback to improve TMR execution standards. Support training and capability-building programs for trade marketing excellence. Decision-Making & Execution Competence: Strong understanding of channel dynamics and stakeholder management. Ability to manage multiple trade activations and prioritize tasks effectively. Expertise in vendor management and negotiation to ensure best execution value. Budget-conscious approach with a focus on cost-effective promotions . High attention to detail and process discipline for seamless implementation . Proven track record of execution excellence in market-facing roles. Key Skills: Deep knowledge of channel behavior and trade dynamics Strong vendor and stakeholder coordination skills Advanced negotiation and communication abilities Budget planning and cost optimization mindset High attention to detail and operational accuracy Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute trade activations end-to-end Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results under deadlines Educational Qualifications: Graduate / MBA in Sales or Marketing Experience Required: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in trade marketing executiontrade marketing execution Preferably from FMCG, AlcoBev, or Channel Sales background Core Values: Customer Centricity Quality Commitment Team Collaboration Innovation Strong Interpersonal Relationships
