Position Overview:

The Total Station Surveyor will be responsible for conducting accurate land and structure surveys using total station instruments for various infrastructure and construction projects. The role involves setting out works, verifying levels, preparing survey data, and ensuring alignment and measurement accuracy as per project drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surveying & Measurement

• Conduct site surveys using Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS instruments.
• Mark reference points and layout coordinates for structural and civil works.
• Perform leveling, contouring, and alignment checks as per design drawings.
• Carry out cross-section, longitudinal section, and as-built surveys.

2. Data Management & Reporting

• Record, analyze, and process survey data using relevant software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly reports of survey activities.
• Coordinate with design and execution teams to verify drawings and field layouts.

3. Site Coordination

• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment.
• Verify and monitor construction activities such as excavation, foundation, column, and slab levels.
• Provide layout and benchmark details to the site execution team.

4. Instrument Handling & Maintenance

• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and safekeeping of total station instruments.
• Report any damage or malfunction of survey instruments immediately.

5. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Follow all site safety protocols while performing survey works.
• Ensure survey data and markings comply with project quality standards and tolerances.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure or building projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Total Station operation (Leica / Sokkia / Topcon / Trimble).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Understanding of construction drawings and layout procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
