About the Role:

Tool Room Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the

  design, development, and maintenance

  of injection moulds for plastic components.
• Supervise daily

  VMC/CNC machining operations

  and ensure optimal productivity.
• Conduct

  mould repair, polishing, and fitting

  as per production requirements.
• Review and interpret

  technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs

  .
• Implement

  preventive maintenance schedules

  to minimize downtime.
• Ensure adherence to

  quality standards, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing practices

  .
• Manage and train tool room technicians, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
• Coordinate with the production and design teams to resolve tooling-related issues.
• Maintain inventory of tools, consumables, and spare parts.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Making.
• Minimum

  5+ years of experience

  in tool room management, preferably in the

  plastic injection moulding

  industry.
• Strong knowledge of

  mobile cover moulds

  will be an added advantage.
