Description
The Scientist, Product Development - Dairy position at Coca-Cola in Gurugram, Haryana is an Individual Contributor role that requires the incumbent to be based in Gurgaon, India and work in a hybrid setup. The role focuses on supporting the execution of new technical solutions and business continuity initiatives to create a robust pipeline of innovation across categories in order to meet the short and long-term priorities of the region. As a Scientist at Coca-Cola, you will play a crucial role in contributing towards a better shared future by leveraging scientific facts and passion to make a difference in people's lives, communities, and the planet. As part of the INSWA Global Development Initiative (GDI) team, your responsibilities will include leading dairy category product development, ensuring projects meet quality, timing, and budget targets. You will apply a design to value and end-to-end (E2E) approach, considering sustainability, regulatory requirements, consumer preferences, and supply chain considerations. By utilizing consumer and technology insights, you will deliver differentiated product and process solutions. Moreover, you will collaborate with senior Product Developers to enhance Coca-Cola system knowledge and participate in learning and sharing sessions regularly. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of successful product development experience in the beverages industry or food industry, preferably in the dairy-based beverage sector. Knowledge of key ingredients used in the production of flavors, concentrates, and beverage bases, as well as basic knowledge of organic chemistry relevant to Company products, is essential. Additionally, having a growth mindset, being performance-driven, and demonstrating leadership behaviors such as acting like an owner and driving innovation will help you excel in this role.
