Times & Methods Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Time & Method Analysis

• Study, calculate, and release machining and production cycles, defining operation sequences, timelines, costs, required resources, and equipment.
  
• Estimate and monitor working times, queue times, and handling times for all production processes.
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation on manufacturing cycles and production methods.
  

Process & Performance Optimization

• Define performance standards for labor and equipment.
  
• Continuously monitor and verify actual production times, ensuring alignment with predefined standards.
  
• Analyze performance indicators related to machine efficiency and labor productivity.
  
• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvement solutions to increase productivity while meeting quality requirements.
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with the Technical Department to support industrialization of technical drawings and ensure manufacturability.
  
• Collaborate with Production Planning & Scheduling to analyze workloads and optimize resource allocation.
  
• Support the Purchasing Department in evaluating and monitoring time and cost parameters for external processing.
  
• Partner with the Controlling Department to analyze variances and KPIs related to labor and machine times.
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  
• Experience in time & method studies, industrial engineering, or production optimization (preferred).
  
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, and assembly operations.
  
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance indicators.
  
• Proficiency with time analysis tools, industrial engineering methodologies, and ERP/MES systems.
  
• Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement mindset.
  

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively within production environments.
  
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement.

Candidates must strictly be from a machine tool or machining background. The company location is Ranjangaon. Company provides transport from Hadapsar & Nigadi
