Time and Attendance Machine Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

The Time and Attendance Machine Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for the installation, debugging, maintenance, and troubleshooting of time and attendance machines and systems at the company or client sites, ensuring the stable operation of the attendance system. This position requires basic knowledge of low-voltage electricity, hardware, or networking, strong hands-on skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

Installation, debugging, and maintenance of time and attendance machines and related systems;

Regular inspection and maintenance of time and attendance machines to ensure stable system operation;

Handling time and attendance machine malfunction reports, parts replacement, software updates, and system resets;

Assisting the IT department or clients in completing network connections, data synchronization, and backups for the attendance system;

Providing training on time and attendance machine operation and usage to new users, answering questions encountered during use;

Recording and reporting maintenance logs, repair records, and spare parts usage status;

Participating in attendance system upgrades, migrations, or equipment replacement projects as required by the company;

Strictly adhering to safe operating procedures to ensure equipment and data security.

Job Requirements:

Vocational school diploma or above, with preference given to candidates majoring in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields;

Familiar with the principles of time clocks (fingerprint, facial recognition, card swiping, etc.) and attendance systems;

Basic skills in network configuration, hardware maintenance, and software debugging;

Attentive to detail, responsible, and able to independently resolve on-site issues;

Excellent customer communication skills and a strong service-oriented mindset;

Experience in maintaining security equipment, access control systems, and time clocks is preferred;

Able to travel or work at multiple locations for maintenance.
