Job Summary:

Ticketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Ticketing & Airline Booking:

·        Manage all aspects of air ticketing (GDS & non-GDS) for individual and group bookings.

·        Handle complex itineraries and fare constructions for MICE events.

·        Ensure timely issuance, reissuance, refunds, and cancellations.

·        Coordinate with internal MICE team and corporate clients to manage travel logistics.

Airline Contracting & Negotiations:

·        Negotiate group fares, special rates, and deals with airlines for MICE and corporate bookings.

·        Build and maintain relationships with airline sales representatives and consolidators.

·        Analyze route profitability and provide recommendations for cost-effective airline choices.

·        Monitor airline incentive agreements and targets.

Team Management & Operations:

·        Lead and supervise the ticketing team; ensure SLA adherence.

·        Train staff on fare rules, ticketing systems, and airline policies.

·        Ensure compliance with travel policies, industry regulations, and client requirements.

Client Coordination & MICE Support:

·        Collaborate with MICE project managers to align flight plans with event schedules.

·        Handle last-minute changes and VIP arrangements.

·        Provide real-time support during events and ensure smooth group movement.

System & Technology Use:

·        Proficient in using GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) for ticketing operations.

·        Utilize airline portals and back-office systems for ticket management.

·        Maintain accurate records for audit and reconciliation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·        Strong understanding of GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
