Job Description

Role Overview: As a Medical Sales Representative at Ferring India M&S, your primary responsibility will be to interface with healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals to promote and inform them about the company's products in order to secure prescriptions within your assigned territory. You will be tasked with achieving sales targets, driving sales growth, and controlling expenses effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Visit doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals to provide information on products based on the marketing strategy and approved frequency and impact for each segment of doctors. Build and maintain strong relationships with these stakeholders. Attend scientific congresses as determined by the company. - Classify doctors and other stakeholders in the area according to segmentation and targeting criteria. Recommend new doctors for inclusion in the files, suggest changes or removals as necessary. Monitor the prescribing habits of doctors, assess their consideration of our products, determine prescription potential, and evaluate their influence on other doctors. - Provide accurate and updated information about the company's products in line with the marketing strategy. Use marketing materials effectively, address doctors" doubts and concerns, handle objections, and highlight the advantages of our products over competitors. Coordinate with other departments to ensure comprehensive information delivery to doctors when required. - Gather market insights regarding doctors" feedback on our products, competitor activities, and effectiveness of our marketing strategy and materials. Stay informed about potential public tenders, competitor product launches, cost-saving measures, and any instructions from health authorities for doctors. Share this information promptly. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, marketing teams, and line managers to ensure seamless communication and alignment with company goals. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (pharmacy, life sciences, etc.) preferred - Proven experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales role - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals - Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance standards Location: Ferring India M&S (Note: Any additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
