About the Opportunity

A leading residential K 12 institution in the Indian CBSE education sector seeks a passionate Social Science educator. The school merges modern pedagogy with holistic boarding infrastructure to shape confident and socially aware learners across grades VI to X.

Role & Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned to CBSE standards using activity based methods.
Design daily lesson plans unit tests and project rubrics that foster critical thinking and civic awareness.
Integrate digital resources and field projects to contextualise History Geography and Civics curricula.
Maintain an inclusive classroom environment monitor student progress and provide differentiated support.
Collaborate with boarding staff to supervise study hours mentoring and pastoral care for resident students.
Liaise with parents during PTMs and issue timely performance reports via the school ERP.

Skills & Qualifications Must Have

Bachelors in History Geography Political Science or allied Social Science discipline plus BEd.
Minimum three years teaching Social Science to grades VI X in a CBSE or ICSE school.
Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills with proven student outcomes.
Fluent English communication and basic MS Office Google Classroom proficiency.
Willingness to reside on campus and participate in co curricular and duty rosters.

Preferred

Masters degree or CTET qualification.
Experience coaching quiz club MUN or social service clubs.
