Position: CBSE - Physical Education Teacher Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore, India Work Mode: On-site Role Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum in accordance with CBSE guidelines. Teach a variety of sports and fitness activities to students of all age groups. Create a positive and engaging classroom environment conducive to student learning. Conduct fitness assessments and evaluate student performance and improvement. Organize and supervise sports events and competitions. Provide health and wellness education to promote healthy lifestyles among students. Encourage teamwork and cooperation through group activities. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty regarding student progress. Maintain student records and documentation according to school policies. Ensure safety standards and protocols are followed during physical activities. Adapt curricula to meet students varying needs and interests. Incorporate modern technologies into physical education practices. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education with other subject areas. Promote an inclusive environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Physical Education or related field. Teaching certification as per CBSE norms. Proven experience teaching physical education at the school level. In-depth knowledge of sports rules and regulations. Strong understanding of physical development and health education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activities. Solid organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in planning and implementing educational programs. Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies. Experience in organizing extracurricular sports programs. Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Ability to assess student performance effectively. Flexibility in addressing diverse student needs. Passion for sports and physical fitness. Must Have: 3+ years of experience teaching in CBSE curriculum schools. Excellent English communication skills. Bachelor s degree in a relevant subject with teaching certification Currently residing in Bangalore or willing to relocate, but availability for in-person demo is mandatory.
