Position: CBSE - TGT Social Science Teacher Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore, India (On-Site) Role Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for social science curriculum. Utilize various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and examinations. Engage students in discussions to enhance critical thinking and understanding. Create a supportive classroom environment conducive to learning. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum development. Incorporate technology to enhance learning experiences. Develop classroom projects that emphasize teamwork and collaboration. Promote social and emotional learning within the classroom. Foster a culture of respect and inclusivity among students. Stay updated with CBSE guidelines and integrate them into lesson plans. Conduct extracurricular activities related to social sciences. Support school-wide initiatives and events. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Education or relevant field. Experience as a TGT Social Science teacher in a CBSE school. Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and syllabus. Ability to create engaging lesson plans based on state standards. Proficient in using educational technology for classroom instruction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices. Commitment to student-centered education and emotional support. Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet student needs. Background in educational psychology or child development is preferred. Certification in teaching or relevant subject area. Experience in integrating multicultural education. Proven ability to foster a positive and respectful classroom environment. Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities. Must Have: 3+ years of experience teaching in CBSE curriculum schools. Excellent English communication skills. Bachelor s degree in a relevant subject with teaching certification Currently residing in Bangalore or willing to relocate, but availability for in-person demo is mandatory.
