Job Description

Position:

Testing Engineer

Qualification:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

1–2 Years (CT/PT or electrical testing preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and type testing of Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT) as per industry standards.
Conduct insulation resistance tests, ratio tests, polarity tests, and accuracy class verification.
Maintain testing records, calibration logs, and test reports.
Identify defects and coordinate with production/QC for corrective actions.
Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
Follow safety guidelines during high-voltage testing.
Support senior engineers in technical troubleshooting.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of CT/PT testing procedures
Understanding of electrical measurement instruments
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow testing standards and documentation
