The Testing Engineer will handle routine, type, and special tests of distribution transformers (as per IS 1180 & IS 2026). The role involves operating test benches, ensuring accuracy of results, maintaining NABL compliance, and preparing test reports. Key Responsibilities: Testing Operations Conduct routine transformer tests (IR, Ratio, Vector Group, Impedance, Load Loss, No Load Loss, HV/LV applied voltage test, etc.). Operate test bench, measuring instruments, and power analyzers . • Ensure proper CT/PT connections, safety norms, and test procedures. NABL Compliance Follow documented SOPs, calibration requirements, and traceability rules. • Maintain test records and ensure accurate data entry. Assist during NABL audits and internal quality checks. Analysis & Reporting Interpret test values and identify deviations. Prepare clear and accurate test reports.
